Randall and Simmonds continue to work closely with our clients to provide cost-effective accommodation for residents with a variety of Special Needs and deliver turnkey facilities. Examples of completed projects include:

Mayflower House, Plymouth, 8 apartments for residents with severe mental and physical disabilities in Partnership with the Salvation Army and Devon & Cornwall Housing Association

Devonport Extra Care Scheme - 40 apartments in an Extra Care Scheme for Frail Elderly in Plymouth for Devon & Cornwall Housing Association, currently being procured for commencement in 2009.

Shillhay Hostel, Exeter - A new homeless persons hostel in Smithen Street which replaced housing in the Cathedral Yard, Exeter

SeeAbility Scheme, Exeter - An innovative partnership involving Devon County Council, SeeAbility, Signpost Care Partnerships and The Housing Corporation provided a mix of properties designed specifically for those with a visual impairment.

Frail Elderly Units, Plymouth - a scheme of 30 apartments in an Extra Care Scheme for Frail Elderly for Signpost Housing Association completed in 2007. Subsequent phases have included community, workshops and affordable housing

Retirement Homes / Sheltered Housing - various schemes including an extension for Abbeyfield Tavistock Society Ltd, which is currently nearing completion.
