As a practice we consider that energy efficient buildings are necessary for both the environment and society as a whole. We believe that long-term sustainable developments and carbon neutral housing are within the grasp of the industry and we aim to collaborate with partners on projects in achieving these goals.

Randall & Simmonds have a dedicated team of trained Sustainability Consultants, Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM Assessors, led by our Sustainability Champion, who provide advice to all our clients and partners. Whenever we are engaged to provide on a project we examine the scheme from an environmental perspective to minimise its overall impact.

Our team have been appointed to provide advice and undertake Ecohomes / Code for Sustainable Homes Assessments on more than 200 housing projects throughout the South of England. To date we have completed over 100 certified assessments for Ecohomes and Code for Sustainable Homes. Our recent experience includes completing projects to BREEAM “Excellent” and Code for Sustainable Homes ‘Level 4’ standards.  We continue to look for opportunities to build upon these achievements
